Czech One Loft Race FCI - 2023
Dear friends,
on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the year 2023 came to a definitive end. The last auction was held. Now we will calculate the auction shares and make delivery plans for the pigeons purchased. However, this activity is hampered by the poor payment morale of some buyers. The rules stated that the pigeons purchased must be paid for as soon as the auction stage is over. We spend a lot of time sending reminders. Sometimes we have to remind several times. The worst situation is in Poland. As of today (16.11) we have financially completed only five stages out of fourteen. That says it all.
We have already paid out 90% of the winnings. We encourage others to contact us and tell us how to handle the money. If you wish to cash them out, you must send us your BIC and IBAN number. We have no problem with payouts. If you want to transfer the money for 2024, then write to us as well. We will transfer the money.
We wish you a peaceful and enjoyable end of the year 2023. We hope to see you again in the next edition.

We have finished the sixth, final and therefore the last race of this season. How was it? I rate the 10th anniversary season as a very successful one. Very few OLR facilities in the world have six races in their basic programme, three of them on +300 km, +400 km and +500 km tracks.
Therefore, after completing such a demanding programme, the pigeons can be considered to be of high quality. However, only pigeons that are healthy, well cared for, with a regular regime and good quality feed can perform well. A lot of credit for all this goes to my daughter Bohdana, who lives with her husband right in the OLR Talent Quatro complex. She started every day with morning training. Always punctual and strict with the pigeons. The pigeons were healthy, trained very well, and the range from the races was good. The FCI final race Szigetvár 410 km was very successful. A nice experience for the breeders present. However, the biggest problem was the weather. We had a very promising start. By 11 August we had completed three of the six races. We even thought that the super final would be a week earlier than planned. But a heat wave came, up to 38°C in the south, and we didn't want to release the pigeons in that weather. We covered the time to the fourth race - September 2 Nyirad 305 km with three timed training sessions from a distance of about 70 km. As it turned out, it was a good decision.
The Super Final from the Croatian town of Vrpolje surprised us all with its course. I must admit that I expected a rather fast race. We arrived at the starting point at 00:15 on Wednesday. So the pigeons had enough rest until the morning. At the start it was clear, calm, 18°C. The present starter, Mr. Gordan Mioč, checked the seals, feeding and watering. Everything was in order and therefore he gave the command to start at 8:00 am. The pigeons flew immediately and without hesitation to the north. In the right direction. In Hungary, as far as Lake Balaton, there was a light wind blowing in different directions up to 4 km/h. Above Lake Balaton the wind started to increase up to 10 km and had a southerly direction. In Slovakia, near Bratislava, the wind increased to 15 km and the direction changed to southeast. The wind was southerly at the point of impact. The temperature rose to 25°C during the day. It was so called smoky in Croatia, but after about 100 km the sky cleared. Visibility was excellent, with beautiful white clouds in the sky. When the winning trio of pigeons flew at 14:25 hours with a speed of 1322 m/min, everything seemed ideal. However, it soon became clear that the final race would be very tough. You can see on the range sheet that it was a very tough super final. On the first day 84 pigeons arrived and the race was closed for competition calculation purposes on the second day at 11:30:03.95 with 213 pigeons arriving. The breeders rate the Super Final positively. The spectators present saw the arrival of the best pigeons. They did not come to Šternberk for nothing. Some were delighted, some were disappointed. But that's how it is in pigeon sport.

Every round anniversary should be distinguished somehow, highlighted. Thus, our team decided to enrich the X. year, except the guaranteed prizes, by a predict competition. The first of predicted doves, activated by its owner in advance by the amount of 40 €, wins the Peugeot motorcycle for its owner. It is a reputable brand that is a guarantee of high-quality. The volume of 125 ccm, together with automatic gear enables the driving with the passenger cars driving licence. Thus, there is not necessary any other driving licence.
You can only bet on your own pigeons immediately after this message is published. It is possible to bet on all your pigeons. In the payment order, in the message to the recipient, please indicate your name and the number of the pigeon(pigeons). Dear friends and supporters,
on Sunday, September 10, 2023, the fifth race of this season took place. The starting point was the Hungarian town of Szigetvár, 410 km away. The pigeons started at 8:20 am - they immediately took the right direction. It was clear, calm, 20° C. There was virtually no wind blowing across Hungary. In Slovakia, a south wind started to blow, fluctuating. However, the temperature was rising rapidly. In the shade it was 24° C, but in the sun it was very soon over 30° C. Hot!
The pigeons were giving it their all. The breeders present evaluated the competition very positively. The others, at home on the computers, also. The massive early morning return of the pigeons was particularly well appreciated. It was a sign of good health and good condition of the pigeons in OLR Talent Quatro.
This track counts towards the FCI championship. The regularity was supervised by the delegate from Serbia, Mr. Arpad Sudicky. At the starting point everything was checked by Mr. Józef Maul. Details you can see on facebook.
We would like to thank the Belgian company AIDI, who donated a gift package with their quality products to the winner of the race. We would also like to thank Mr. Pavel Senohrábek, who donated a package of delicious sausages from his factory to the first three pigeon owners present. This package was given to Mr. Martin Bouchal, Mr. Marek Skrbek and Mr. Jo Vos from far away Holland.

The Nyirád race will be dedicated to the memory of the 65 victims of the tragedy when the roof of the exhibition hall collapsed under the weight of snow on 28 January 2006 in Katowice, Poland. The exhibition of homing pigeons was taking place there. We will not forget our friends! The owners of the first three pigeons will get nice trophies.

On Friday, 21 July 2023, the 10th OLR Talent Quatro begins with the first timed practice. The flight time is already counted for the Time Ace competition. From then on, we start racing live. We wish you much success.

On Tuesday, 13 June 2023, the chipping of pigeons was completed. The list of all participants of this year's, Xth OLR Talent Quatro, was sent to the FCI management. The season is over.
So far everything is going well and we rate the year as one of the best. We believe that the success so far will be carried over to the competition flights.

Today, 30.5.2023, we finished the first vaccination of young pigeons in our One Loft Race Talent Quatro. We used the RP vaccine.
The pigeons are doing well. She was happily bathing in the shower in the afternoon.

Duo Eddy Noël and Ivan Willockx
Eddy Noël has more than 40 years of experience in pigeon racing. For several of those years he has worked as a nutritionist developing a wide range of high quality, well balanced feed mixes and supplements, adapted to modern racing trends and designed to help your pigeons perform at their absolute best. Eddy is an expert in pigeon nutrition and supplements and is always happy to share his knowledge. He has given numerous talks on nutrition, racing methods, improving your pigeon breeding, pigeon competitions and creating a healthy environment and suitable zoo conditions on your pigeon loft.
As a former professional footballer, Ivan Willockx knows a thing or two about top sport. He currently works as a pigeon agent, which means he regularly visits fellow fanciers. As such, he is very familiar with the day-to-day needs of top pigeons and the requirements of their owners. In other words, they are two specialists in their field and know what it takes to get and keep a pigeon's body in top shape, ready to produce top results.
Eddy Noël and Ivan Willockx founded the company AIDI and compete in Belgium under the team name Noël-Willockx. Under this name they have achieved many successes both at home and at other pigeon clubs. The pigeons from their breeding will certainly not be lost in the competition.
